Ender's Game Anticipation Guide

Lying is justifiable if it's for the greater good
I rated four on this because I believe that it can be good to lie if it is for the greater good.  Although it doesn't usually end up good for a person but might benefit a larger group of people.  For example lying to an enemy in a war in order to make think that they know our weaknesses but when really we are just setting them up.  Eventually they will find out and they won't be happy but we may have won the battle because of it.
Sometimes violence is the only way to solve a problem
I rated this a four because in some rare situations there isn't enough time to fix a situation with words.  For example if someone who was put in jail years ago because they attempted to burn down your house and got out of prison and planned revenge.  If he came into your house with a gun then talking to him probably wouldn't be an option.
It is okay to kill someone in self-defense
I rated three because sometimes it is okay to kill someone in self if of course they are about to kill you and you know they have killed other people then i would say that it would be okay to kill them.
Words are stronger than fists
I rated four because in most situations words could be much more powerful than fists.  However this does depends on the situation.  If someone that didn't really know how to use words in the right way and he was trying to get information out of someone that can't relate with other people's emotions then fists would be stronger than word.  There are not many cases where that is true
Bully's hurt others because they have a low self-esteem
I rated five on this because I do agree with this completely.  Of course there is always an exception to most of these questions but basically this is true every time.
Only the best and brightest students should receive the best education to become a nation's leaders
I rated this three because I do think that smartest students should become our nation's leader however I don't believe that only the smartest ones deserve an education because if you are judging intelligence by grades then you won't necessarily get accurate results.
Revenge is never justified
I rated one because i completely disagree with this statement it is much to black and white.  Ya sure in most situations revenge might not be justified but that depends on how much revenge you get and what they did to you.  If they kill your loved ones and then you find him and send him to prison i would be satisfied knowing that he is gone it would be completely justifiable.
Crying is evidence of weakness
I rated four because crying is evidence of weakness in simple situations however it is just a form of releasing emotion which is not weakness as long as it is worth crying about.  So crying isn't necessarily a sign of weakness but you can take the things that someone cries about and judge if they are weak or not depending on if they cry about unimportant things.
Any action is acceptable in war
I rated two because a lot of actions in war is not acceptable like dropping a nuclear bomb.  That is not acceptable because that will most likely kill many innocent people.  That is not the goal of war will most likely not get what going for if you drop a nuclear bomb in less you are on the defensive side of the war.
Teenagers need discipline because they cannot control themselves
I rated four because i believe that teenagers do need discipline because they can't control themselves in the way that their brain hasn't fully developed in the part of the brain that helps you make decisions based on what will happen in the future.
Only through personal sacrifice can someone create positive change
I rated three because yes they do need to make some sort of personal sacrifice in order to make any change but this sacrifice can be something as small as a couple seconds of your day.
Creating compassion for your enemies is the only to make peace
I rated four because in order to achieve complete peace you will have to create compassion for your enemies.  However you can achieve peace by simply making some sort of compromise.

Learning Style

I am a Logical-Mathematical Learner
Your mantra: Why? Well, because it's logical.
Logical-mathematical intelligence is often what we refer to when we call someone -- such as a mathematician or an engineer -- smart. You possess the ability to understand complex problems, both logical and mathematical. This intelligence asks questions, finds solutions, and reflects on the problem-solving process.

I would say that this is a pretty accurate quiz.  I wasn't really to surprised about anything on the quiz.  I do enjoy figuring things out especially when no one else can.

You Are an Intrapersonal Learner
Your mantra: To thy own self be true.
Intrapersonal intelligence has been said to be the road to achievement, learning, and personal satisfaction. You are connected to who you are and how you feel, and you know your own limits and abilities. You often set goals for yourself, self-manage, and reflect on results.
Those with intrapersonal intelligence do well in careers where self-management is important, such as being a writer, a teacher, a counselor, a police officer, or a pilot.

I would say that this is a pretty accurate result and i do believe that i am an intrapersonal learner in the way that i prefer to figure things out by myself in order to feel accomplished.

You Are a Visual-Spatial Learner
Your mantra: What you see is what you get.Visual-spatial intelligence allows you to see and modify things in your mind. With an understanding of the visual world and its relation to physical items, you are good at solving spatial problems, designing, and doing crafts. Interior designers have remarkable spatial abilities, as do painters.

I was a little bit surprised by this one because i've never really thought of myself as a visual learner but now that i think about it a little bit i guess i am sort of a visual learner.  Really i like to do it myself to understand it the most.

Living Without Walls

I moved to the house that I live in now around the summer of last year.  We had been
planning to move there for a while but couldn’t because of many problems.  My great
grandpa  lived in the house and when he died we inherited it.  But no one ever took care of
the house so by the time it was ours the houses plumbing and electricity didn’t work so we
had to basically take apart the entire house until there was no ceiling, no walls, and in some
rooms no floor.

The first thing that we tried to get done was the plumbing and I think that in total it
took about a year to complete.  We had to get a permit to dig a very large hole in the yard
to put the septic tank in, but we had to get a permit in order to proceed.  This took a lot of
time.  When we finished all of that we put in the wiring for everything which took quite a long
time and I don’t think we finished it by the time we moved in the house.  I think that we still
had to install some light fixtures.  The light switch in my room only worked for a month or so
and then it didn’t work.  We replaced the light bulb but it never fixed the problem. I never
made a big deal out of so it never got fixed.

After we got the electricity and the plumbing done we got sheetrock and put up the
walls.  After we did all of that we spent our first night in the house.  There was still only
plywood on the floors, so we couldn’t sleep in our own rooms.  We all spent the night in my
parents room because that was the only room in the house that would serve to sleep in.  My
parents and sister slept on the one bed and I slept on the floor.  A couple days later we
spent the night in our own rooms because we put down the flooring and moved our beds to
our room.  At this point all I had in my room was a couch.  Once we moved a TV and my
xbox into my room I spent a lot of my time playing that.

For around six to eight months I was depressed because my dad wasn’t working
because crab season hadn’t started and it got delayed to be in mid December much like
this year.  However the difference between this year and last year is that my mom wasn’t
working either.  So nobody was making money and didn’t get unemployment checks as
often as we were supposed to.  Now my mom is working and the house is in much better
condition than it was a year ago.  Once my dad started crab season we started making
money again and we were able to make the house a better place to live in.
